A Defining Moment

Sports analysts speculate moments when a team gels together to complete a championship run. I think this was the defining moment Boston Bruins Stanley Cup Run.
Boston was down in the series with Montreal after losing the first two games at home. The needed to find a place to practice before going to Montreal for the next two games. The arena in Montreal was booked for a Rush concert.

Not far from Montreal is a little hamlet called Lake Placid, New York. It might sound familiar as it was the place and the inspirational win of Team USA over the evil empire USSR during the 1980 Winter Olympics. This is were the Bruins practiced.

What inspired the Bruins here in Lake Placid?
