Space: The Final Flight of Endeavour

This is the final fight of the Space Shuttle Endeavour. Endeavour was named after another ship that was used to expand the world's horizon. That British ship was captained by the famous James Cook and was sailed around the world.

Space Shuttle Endeavour will have "sailed" around the world over 4430 times. She was built of spare parts from Atlantis and Discovery to replace the ill fated Space Shuttle Challenger.

When she lands she will be decommissioned. Her Canada arm will be removed to be displayed in a yet to be determined museum in Canada. Then placed upon the back of a 747 and flown to California she will go to her final resting place on display at the California Science Center in Los Angeles.

Thanks Endeavour for 25 spectacular flights!
