Sundial Shadow

The sundial reads high noon as the shadow hits XII.
As I glanced at my watch in was in fact noontime.
This shot is taken in the beautiful gardens of the Ropes Mansion, Salem, Massachusetts.

The poem on the sundial reads:
Hours fly
Flowers bloom and die
Old days, old ways
pass by
Love stays
