I can caught these shots right after a summer down pour.
Below, looking up an narrow alley directly into the sun.

Cool shadows and reflections in these photos!
Fabulous reflections! Thank goodness for downpours!

If shadows could jump,
How high would they go?
As high as the moon?
Does anyone know?

If shadows could weep,
How long would they cry?
As long as it takes
To climb to the sky?

If shadows could laugh
And tell funny jokes
Would you take them home
And say, “Get this, folks!”?

If shadows could wed,
Would they prefer you
Or somebody else
To promise, “I do”?

Great shots!
Salem is on my list for September. My daughter laughs at me making lists when I visit. But I need to see as much as I can of the area! :)
Nice reflections and shadows.

I love the way that top photo looks. Maybe I'm just longing for that rain.....

The bricks submerged in rain water is a really cool shot! Hope that cooled things down for you a bit!
