This week's Sepia Saturday prompt reminds of the style of the great painter Norman Rockwell. His idyllic, realistic style adorned many a cover of the Saturday Evening Post in the 1900's. He also painted many masterpieces such as the Four Freedoms, Triple Self Portrait, and The Golden Rule.

I had a chance to see many of Rockwell's works a few years ago that are hung in his museum. The brilliant museum is located in a beautiful far corner of Massachusetts called the Berkshires. This area provided many an inspiration for his portraits.

My favorite? This one showing a doctor examining a little girl's "sick" doll. It even shows a doctor's bag which is shown in the prompt below.
