This flag is made up of 15 stars and 15 stripes. The United States flag was increased from 13 to 15 stars and stripes when the states of Kentucky and Vermont were admitted to the union in 1795. This was the last flag to fly extra stripes. After this all flags had 13 stripes for the 13 original colonies. Only stars where added after this. The flag flies in front of Hamilton Hall that was built when this style flag flew for the country.
